It was a very hot day and this tour was well worth it. We got very quickly from the meeting point through security. We spent around 1 hour on the island, taking photos and enjoying the museum. Museum was well worth a visit but we could have stayed longer. We then boarded the boat to Ellis Island. There are loads to see here, with a very interesting museum documenting the history of the island at different stages.
Excellent tour guide with remarkable 'hidden' information about the statue and Ellie Island. Getting up early and getting to the New York harbor for the tour was well worth the effort. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. She used a large variety of photos when giving us history and facts, which took the topics from abstract to real and made me appreciate the whole experience.
